Install Global Issue

Hey guys,

I've had the chance to go over all topics, but none of the solutions seem to
fit my problem.

What is my problem?
Basically, in the Netscape area Firefox, Netscape and Flock the issue occurs
when a little pop-up says ok we need to install this plug in the plug in
installation goes along nicely but on the client where the actual DCR is a
white screen appears with the Shockwave logo saying "Adobe Shockwave Player is
now installing".

It should install yes? in fact it doesn't I've tried many other browsers and
all these sort of wild solutions, if anyone has any idea please reply.

Hi everyone, I downloaded the "Update" and I'm getting the same problem with
"Freezing during installation"! My first mistake downloading the update! It
all went down hill from there!

It reads --"Adobe Shockwave Player Now Installing" -- I closed the web page
after 1/2 hr of waiting to complete, re-opened the website that runs the
program (Slingo.com) and then it reads -- "Installing compatability Components"
just above the status bar.

I have tried uninstalling & re-downloading, installing the player with no
change. It still freezes up.

I'm running Windows XP on my Laptop and WIndows Vista Home Premium & IE for
browser and I get the same problem on both computers.:disgust;

Any Help?

Netscape is no longer avaliable so if your trying to install in there browser may not work

Hi everyone, I finally installed the Adobe Shockwave Player.
Here's what I had to do;

Un-install previous version
"Restart" computer
Use a registry cleaner
"Restart"
Download Adobe Shackwave Player
Install the program following the instructions
"Restart" after each phase of the install

The KEY is to use the registry cleaner and "Restart" after each phase that
allows you to restart.

Yea, thanks. It was a hassle and I had to use Registry Boost to do the
cleaning, but it finally started working properly.
