I think I can. I just *installed* FMS2 on a newly installed Linux Enterprise
4, which should be fully supported according to some of the docs. What they
don't mention is that you have to have the Legacy programming tools installed.
There are some C++ files that you will need. If you haven't yet, you have to
open your installed programs and add the Legacy programming services. (I'm not
sure I got the name right, but anyway add the programs with the C++ building
libraries). Then you will likely move forward to the problem I'm fighting with
now. The fmsmgr doesn't work and no matter what, the main server will not
listen on any port. I wanted to set it to listen on port 80, (which for some
reason makes everything run as root), but that didn't work. I reinstalled a
few times, even accepting the default port 1935. A netstat shows that the
adminserver is listening on both ports 1111 and 11110 as can be expected, but
there isn't anything else listening. I reconfigured the files and tried to
reset the server, but the origin server isn't even on. Attempts to use the
adminserver or the mfsmgr don't work. Any suggestions? Anybody??

    Thank you GenaroRg.
Installation is complete. But I can't login with admin user name and password
    open Serve management console.

It says Login attempt to the server below failed. Please verify your login
    information and try again.
    The Login details is :
    Server address : localhost
    Username : admin
    Password : admin

What is the RTMP path is linux fedora7.
And also I uploaded one application file ( session) with main.asc in
/opt/macromedia/fms/application. Then i opened appliation with RTMP path is
    rtmp://localhost even rtmp:/session, rtmp://192.168.0.122) No improvement.
    Please help me.
