Installation Error with DataCab1 - Adobe Acrobat Windows

I purchased Acrobat 6.0 Professional and have an installation problem with XP Pro. During the installation process, the auto run program attempts to open DataCab1 which is a zipped file with many individual files inside. It gives a message that it cannot find the file. The file is intact and all files appear to be valid. It is my belief the at the problem is an inability of the program to unzip the contents of DataCab1. Hoping that someone has a work around to this problem to facilitate the installation of the program. Thanks in advance to anyone that can ...

Copy the Acrobat 6 Professional folder from the CD onto the desktop and install from there. It should work.

If it does not then try installing from the desktop in VGA mode - NOT Safe Mode (it will not install).
