Installing Acrobat 6 Professional

I know it's old software, but hopefully someone can help?

We've got an old version of Acrobat (version 4) that I wanted to upgrade to the latest version... unfortunately it's too old to qualify for upgrading to 8 so I bought an old copy of Acrobat 6 Professional (upgrade) instead.

I am able to install Acrobat 6 without a problem but on startup, because it can't find Acrobat 4 (which isn't on my system as it's a System 9 program) it won't let me go any further. It doesn't offer me the choice of typing in its serial number (which I have), instead it wants the original CD.

Unfortunately, it looks like I've lost that.

Is there any way at all of getting it working?

Your help will be most appreciated... I need to get this sorted as I have to make a PDF form and I've already put the client off for a week!
