Installing Photoshop 7.0

When installing the Photoshop 7.0 upgrade is it neccesary to remove/uninstall Photoshop 6.0?
Please advise:-)

It is not necessary to remove 6.0. It's your choice... either way, 7.0 will function normally.

Just make sure and say no if asked if you want to remove shared components.
