The XP CD (and the Windows 2000 CD) is bootable. Set your BIOS to look for
bootable devices in the following order:

FDD, CD, HDD

Stick the XP CD in the CD drive, restart the PC. When the message appears
on the screen,

Press A Key to Boot from CD.....

(press any key, even the spacebar)
