Interactive/fillable forms in non-Latin scripts?

Default Interactive/fillable forms in non-Latin scripts?

I've been asked to create some PDFs from InDesign that are supposed to be fillable in foreign language scripts (think Russian, Czech, Bosnian-i-mean-Serbo-Croatian, etc.), and I responded immediately Never In This World.

Was I right? My tests inform me that none of the Windows input methods will squeeze non-Latin script text into a fillable PDF. (Because people will be filling these out online at friend's houses or via library connections, for example, I can't rely on the user base to be particularly technically apt, so I'm assuming a Win2K/XP user with OS in English.)

I don't know Javascript, and I know even less than zero about how Javascript works in a PDF, but could Custom Keystroke scripts be used to do this? (i.e., should I start learning right away?) I'm guessing that I'll have to make an equivalent form in HTML, then generate the PDF on the fly, using the HTML form submission stuff and a PHP script to make something that the end user can print out.

    Any response would be appreciated.

I am new to AA 6.0 Standard version.
After a quick browse, I suspect you can't create interactive forms with this software.

I didn't find any related topics in help. I am a new user in an office that has owned the product for some time and I don't have a manual or a voodoo number to authorize the vendor to help.

If any one can point me in the right direction for creating interactive forms, please do so.

    Thanks.

You cannot create forms without Acrobat Professional.
