interactive text on a path
This is going to be my first post to this newsgroup...and it's going to be a
doozy...
I need to be able to type text in a field and have that text show up on
another part. Where the text shows up it will be either straight across,
inclined, arced, or arched. Then I will have to be able to restyle the text
on the fly - i.e. go between the different shapings of the text without
pause or back track so that they text i've typed gets automatically
reshaped. Is this making sense?
Obviously there will be questions so fire away...

textfields like you describe them. You'll have to make each letter a
seperate mc -- or rather make seperate mc's that refers to the the
letters you're typing. Then you'll have to controll them (the mc's
representing the letters) with actionscript. As far as I know, you cant
even rotate a dynamic textfield without loosing the text. This is
however some guessing from my side -- I might be wrong about this ...

Re: interactive text on a path
Flashkit.com forum said there might be component for this sort of thing.
Where would I look for such a component if it existed?

as its own MC and manipulate it in that way. So it is possible :)
