Interactivity with Director
Hi all,
I'm currently entering my final year at university (England) and am now selecting my final year project. I'm looking at creating a Director application for first time users of Windows XP, which simulates Win XP so the user can play around with changing their desktop etc. However I've been informed that to achieve a high grade, I would need to implement some more advanced features. My ideas are to either have the director app interact directly with Windows, for example so the user could change their actual windows desktop from inside the application, or to have some form of network learning, whereby a teacher could demonstrate on one pc running the application and this would be visible to the user on a different pc.
I've been hunting around the net for examples of uses of Director like this, but have had no luck so far. Can anyone give me any advice of what is needed here. Can i use activeX for the windows interactivity? Are there any Director Xtras i should consider? Any other ideas of 'advanced techniques' which could add to this project?
I would be very grateful for any advice you could offer,
regards, Mike Hill

Re: Interactivity with Director
I'd definitely get BuddyAPI, if I had to tackle something like this.
