"InterFaceLib--GetComponentResource"????? - Mac Applications & Software

A couple of days ago I wrote of my problem installing a Toast upgrade. It seems the upgrader is looking for a file "InterFaceLib--GetComponentResource" and can not find it. I don't have it and never heard of it. A google search only listed a variety of other people trying to install a number of different programs but couldn't because they were missing "InterFaceLib--GetComponentResource". Anyone know what this is and where to find it? Thanks Lyndon -- com...

What it's really looking for is a function named GetComponentResource
exported from a shared library named InterfaceLib. InterfaceLib is
present on all PPC machines. You won't find it as a distinct file, but
it's there. The GetComponentResource routine was introduced with
QuickTime 3, and I'd be surprised if what you've got is earlier than
that. Presuming you do have at least v3.0 of QuickTime, I'm left
thinking the installer you've got is trying to find the function
manually instead of letting the OS do it, and not being quite correct
    about its technique.
