Internet time synchronization fails (XP home)

Internet time synchronization fails with the message: An error occurred
while Windows was synchronizing with time.windws.com

ICF is not enabled, still fails with Norton internet security disabled.

ntp port shows packets being sent, but none received.

Try a different time server. Perhaps that one is down for some reason. I use time-a.nist.gov as my
time server of choice.
