intersect sprites on still down: how? - Macromedia Director Lingo

I am creating an interactive timeline. I have a scrollbar with a thumb and another sprite (the hotspot) Now, what I want to do is while the thumb is clicked and dragged into the "hotspot" sprite (intersecting) the play head jumps to a marker ("m1"). The only way I can get it to work is with an exitframe behavior assigned to the hotspot, on the mouseup. I know that doesn't have anything to do with mousedown, but I think I'm close. I've tried replacing the exitframe with "on mousedown" and "repeat while the stilldown" but then I get no response, ...

    Default intersect sprites on still down: how?

    I am creating an interactive timeline.
    I have a scrollbar with a thumb and another sprite (the hotspot)

    Now, what I want to do is while the thumb is clicked and dragged into the

    Hi George, have you tried just making the sprite moveable (go into the
    property inspector, click on the Sprite Tab and inbetween the Editable and
    Trails button is one that is called Moveable (make sure you have the sprite
    you want to be able to drag selected)).
    Then you should be able to put a behaviour on the sprite that just says:

    on exitFrame
    if sprite(13).intersects(8) then
    go to "m1"
    end if
    end exitFrame

    Is that what you're after?
