Default Invoking a names, application scope CFC from HTML

    Hello,

I have an application scope CFC. Is it possible for a HTTP request to be
    specifically directed to this CFC?
In other words, can I invoke this CFC using its instance name, from a HTTP
    form?

    Thanks

Default Re: Invoking a names, application scope CFC from HTML

    You can not.

If you invoke a CFC method remotely, using a specific URL, form field, Flash
Remoting MX, or a web service invocation, ColdFusion looks in the specified
path relative to the web root. For form fields and URLs specified directly on
local web pages, ColdFusion also searches relative to the page directory.

No, but you can link to a cfm file and pass the cfc name and the cfc can
forward the request to the existing application-scoped cfc. If the cfc does a
lot of initialization then this would be faster than re-executing the cfc each
    time.
