    Default ipod firmware

    Hi,

got myself a nice little 15Gb ipod for windows,
however i had the super bad idea to format the drive
and now my ipod is not recognized by either itunes or musicmatch.
Furthermore, it's not possible to restore it. The restore program
says it "can't mount the ipod", despite that i can perfectly send
files to it or read files from it. From what i could find out so
far i have to re-install the firmware, but i just can't figure out
how. If anyone has a clue, help would really be appreciated.

i don't know how to do so...

There's a bunch of things to try on Apple's Support pages:
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=60950
Might be good to go through these. Also:
    http://www.info.apple.com/usen/ipod/tshoot.html might have some ideas
    for you. Good luck!
