Default Is A MAC Freehand file editable in Windows Freeha

    Hi,

I have Freehand MX and was wondering if a layered file produced on a MAC system will be able to be edited on a Windows XP platform?

    Thanks in advance!

The answer is YES!!! The only problem will be fonts accross platforms. Also
another problem that happens every once and awhile is linked images dont show
up when you bring the file to another platform. All you have to do is relink
    them.

As long as you don't need to edit the fonts further, you can save them to
paths and the cross platform problem with fonts is gone. They can still be
edited then, but only as an object, not text.
