Is Contribute the best of it's kind?
Hello, I was just wondering if anyone knew if contribute is the leading
software of it's type. Cause I like using Adobe for
my development and whatever else I need software for. Since Adobe is known for
its professional software names like Photoshop and other leading programs Adobe
has. I was just wondering if it is also the same for contribute since a friend
of mine told me he uses something better, but i don't readily beleive him. I
just naturally trust adobe's products over other Name brand software developers
out there. Can anybody enlighten me a bit =) thanks a lot.:smile;

I suggest you download the trial and find out for yourself if it's the right
program for you.
When you design/build websites with Dreamweaver, Contribute could be a nice
CMS for your clients to update content (use of editable regions).

Re: Is Contribute the best of it's kind?
The Blog side of Contribute is not fully developed yet, and very unstable on a
Mac. It has the best idea of any blog editor yet: using the template of the
Blog host itself---but there are virtually no preferences and it crashes a lot.
Unfortunately, tech support knows very little about Contribute also in my
experience.

Re: Is Contribute the best of it's kind?
If you build your own websites using standards-compliant code give Contribute a
miss as it will screw everything up when your collaborators try to edit it. It
seems to be only any use if you use Contribute to build the site in the first
place, which is ok if your idea of web design dates from the last century.
