Is IE7 an end to the nightmare?
I've been considering installing Internet Explorer 7 in hopes that it might
solve the Flash installation bug. Generally, I'm reluctant to go with Beta
releases of critical software, but I might consider it if I thought that it
would undo whatever is messed up with Flash. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Re: Is IE7 an end to the nightmare?
I'll answer my own question. I decided to give IE7 a try, and while it
installs and runs fine, it still didn't solve the Flash player install problem.
Flash will still not install!
It is just inconceivable to me that Adobe cannot fix this problem, or that
they would not be putting unlimited resources on it around the clock until it
is resolved. Considering that Internet Explorer must represent at least 90% of
the browser world, even a small percentage of those users unable to use Flash
would seem to me to be a major commercial problem. Oh well...
