    Hi
Is it possible to stop the JavaScript portion of a page from refreshing when the page is refreshed (F5).
I'm using a random text JS and would like it to keep playing where it's left off, not from the beginning again.

I don't think there is any way of doing it, at least not with JavaScript
alone. When a page is refreshed, everything, including JavaScript, is
reloaded anew - that's the whole idea of refreshing.

    Hi,

This is just a wild quess and it doesn't really work on every browser.
But it's the only way I could think it MIGHT be possible. By using
iframes you can include a page to your existing page. Then if you've
the refresh on the included page it should only refresh itself.

But like Alan already said, it might not be possible.
