Yes... sort of... You need a program that allows you to "print" your swf screen and save it as an eps file. The Generic Postscript printer driver available from Adobe's website will give you the option to save as eps.. Be forewarned that it is very close, but the eps file does introduce some distortion, so small text will become slightly jagged. (Not visible at screen resolution..)

Still, it's better than nothing. You can find more about it in the www.ultrashock.com forums. Search the "flash" forum for "postscript driver" and you will find it... (They don't allow direct links...) Good luck! :)

Are you talking about a .fla or a .swf Mattias? Either way, do you actually have the Flash program? If so you can export a .fla to an .ai from within Flash. If it's a .swf, you need to import that file into a blank doent in Flash then you can export to an Illustrator file.

If you don't have Flash, maybe you can download a demo of it, if it's just the one job you need to use it for.

The reason I suggest this way is that you will get a 'perfect' result exporting from Flash to Illy (if the Flash file is a vector, that is).

Glad to be of asistance. Yeah, Dion is right, if it's a fla you're trying to export, just do a "save as" illustrator6 and it exports perfectly. Unfortunately there is no way to do that from a compiled swf, hence the above printer trick. Hope it works out for ya.

BTW, in the forum please keep the content of your previous question intact so other people can find it when they are searching for the same problem...

    :)

I'm not sure which planet you're using Flash on, but on Earth Flash cannot export or 'save as' to an AI file. I am using CS 5.
