Is it possible to make a composite PDF with just spot colors?

    Hi Nathan

    Can you explain to me how you make PDF with spot colours. i print onto cd. i receive files made in photoshop illustrator and quark, my customes say the high res. pdf files are duotone but when i open on my g5 mac with acrobat 6 the files are process colours!
    there must be some pref. in acrobat that i have not turn on to accept files as pantone spot colours as duotones?????????help!!!!!!!

    You need Acrobat 6 Professional and then select ADVANCED/SEPARATIONS
    PREVIEW ...

    Also - ask them how they can be sure the content is duotone ....

    How are you determining that the files are process colour?
