    Default Is multi-ink possible?

I want to define a custom made swatch (using Illustrator 10.0.3), composed by two or more pantone colours. For example the swatch "frog green" = 100% pantone 106 M + 85% pantone 286 M. Is this possible? If not, what is the alternative, as I don't want to multiply layers? Does a plug-in exist for this problem?

    Default Re: Is multi-ink possible?

The only way I've been able to create that effect in Illustrator is to have the one spot color, then overprint the second color. It's not a perfect solutions, and I wish that Illustrator could do that. Especially since quark could do it years ago.

You canalso do it via the appearance menu.
