Is there a Bold version of the Symbol font?
Is there a Bold version of the Symbol font or how can I Bold the characters in

there another font that I can use for these that would give me Bold versions.

you might consider acquiring Linotype's Mathematical Pi font family;
it's probably available from Adobe and others.
