Is there an FTP site? - Macromedia Flash Player

I need to download Flash Player for a different platform than the one I am currently on. Default Is there an FTP site?

I need to download Flash Player for a different platform than the one I am
currently on. I am creating a CD so I can install an application cluster on a
number of Windows PCs *before* those PCs go on the network.

As it happens, all my personal machines are running Linux. If I go to the
website to download Flash, it "helpfully" provides me with links to download
the Linux version of Flash. Although that's very nice of it, Flash is running
fine on my Linux box, thank you very much. I need the Windows version.

So far the website steadfastly refuses to show me what I need. I went to the
Adobe FTP site where I have been able to resolve other Adobe download related
annoyances, but it doesn't seem that any of the Macromedia stuff is there.

So where can I go to download the Flash version for a platform I am not
currently using? Without any "help" from the website scripts?

Thanks!

Go to www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer. On the right hit the 'more players'
link. That will let you get the plugins and/or the ActiveX control.

Unfortunately, that doesn't work.

Yes, you get to go to a page that lists all the platforms and gives you a link
for each to download flash player.

Each one auto-detects your current platform and sends you where **it** thinks
is appropriate.

Please protect me from software that wants to *help* me.
