Is this possible to do this
I am making a web site for my company
and there is a program that we access by typing a domain name with a number
like for an example http://nhl.com:8000
is there a way to create a little windows (a box) so we can type the domain
(nhl.com) and click next and a internet explorer will open
and it will write http://nhl.com:8000
is there a script or anything to create this
thank you

Re: Is this possible to do this
Hello Sylvain & Jen,
I think your just wanting a bookmark if I understand what your asking.
Do the following to place an icon on your desktop that you can click to goto
the website in question. (I'm assuming XP and Internet Explorer)
1. open your browser and goto the website
2. click Favorites/Add to favorites and then click OK
3. size your browser so it does not take up the whole screen
4. in your browser again, click on Favorites
5. down at the bottom (assuming your favorites have not been re-arranged since
bookmarking) you should find the website you want.
Right click on that link and don't let go
drag it onto your desktop
let go of your right click and a drop down menu appears
select Create Shortcuts Here
Now, when you click on the new shortcut you put on your desktop a browser will
open and load the website.
Is that what you were looking for???
