Issue printing to pdf from Quark 6.5
My husband just installed Quark 6.5 and Acrobat Professional 7.0.9 on his Mac. The Mac is running 10.3.9. He found Adobe Support Document 328645 titled "Convert QuarkXPress 6.x documents to Adobe PDF (Acrobat 6.x-7.x on Mac v10.2.x-10.4.x)". He followed the steps until he got to step 3 under the section titled "Print to Adobe PDF from within QuarkXPress". It says "in the Setup menu, choose Adobe PDF from the Printer Description dropdown menu. 6.0 or Adobe PDF 7.0". He cannot do this step because Printer Description is grayed out. Does anyone know why he would not be able to access the Printer Description dropdown menu?

Re: Issue printing to pdf from Quark 6.5
In the PRINT CENTRE - change the default printer to ADOBE PDF?
This should unlock the preference - never use Quark these days though
(although spent a great 30 minutes today in OS9 and Quark 4 ... memories ..)
Cheers!
Jon
