Re: It says free but is it??
Hi,
I've hit the same problem.
I'm developing for users who only need the functionality of Adobe Reader; I don't need the full Acrobat functionality.
Is there an API for the Adobe Reader that I can use somehow?
Thanks,
Shaul

Ignore this - just posting again so I can subscribe to the discussion.
(If you're the webmaster, maybe don't ignore it - seems pretty silly that you've got to post before you're allowed to subscribe!)

The Acrobat SDK includes information on developing with Adobe Reader.
A small number of the interfaces are in Reader, most are not.
So, to answer your question depends on knowing what it is that you
want to do. Reader is limited for obvious reasons...

Re: It says free but is it??
Hi Aandi, thanks for your quick reply!
All I want to do is print out a batch of PDF documents.
Thanks!

Re: It says free but is it??
Look at the DDE or AxAcroPDF API. The latter will need you to open the
file in a control; the former will open them in the Reader window.
