jagged strokes
I just installed freehand 8 on my mac and when i draw a line or stroke it is jaggy, how can i antialias or smoothing the stroke?

there is no FH8 anti-alias preview.

Not sure what you mean by "previewing the anti-aliasing" (is the work
destined for screen?), but Fhd 9 has a "flash antialias" view available that
might be close to what you seek. -Tom Unger

Note that this "Flash AntiAlias" simulates the way a Flash Player will
render objects when in its High Quality mode. Since the Flash Player doesn't
support some FH objects and its rendering of some common objects is quite
different from that of a PS printer, this mode is NOT recommended for
previewing artwork that you intend to print. It should be used only when the
artwork will be either exported as SWF directly or saved in FH format and
imported into Flash.
More up-to-date versions of FH have an antialiased screen preview that is
appropriate for print jobs and replace FH9's "Flash AntiAlias" preview mode
with a "Test Movie" function that is an even more accurate preview of Flash
SWF output.
