    Default Java CFX Tag

    I wrote A CFX Tag to encrypt a file with a command line engine
    the java code works fine if I write it into a pure java app;
    however if I turn it into a CFX Tag the Tag appears to run but the encrypted
    file doesn't show up
    its as if cold fusion is suppressing the creation of the file
    Any help would be appreciated.

    <cffile action = "write"
    file = "C:\AON\Test.txt"
    output = "Test This File"
    addNewLine = "No"
    attributes = "archive">
    <cfx_cfpgencrypt Name="C:\AON\Test.txt" KeyID="recfin" reload="Always">
    <CFoutput><br>OK</CFoutput>
    this is the code that is used and it runs fine exept the lack of the file
    I need this figured out soon

    Default Re: Java CFX Tag

    Verify that ColdFusion has write permissions. We had the same problem with our Linux installation. We simply changed the sandbox settings to allow ColdFusion to write files.

    Default Re: Java CFX Tag

    there is no security policy defined to prevent cold fusion from writing files
    and it handles the cffile just fine and creates that file but the encryption
    cfx tag isn't producing the encrypted file but if run threough a pure java app
    works perfectly
