Java custom tag work in J2EE servers? - Coldfusion - Advanced Techniques

I want to write some reusable code for both CFMX and Java servers(e.g. Tomcat). Does the ColdFusion Java custom tag work for J2EE servers? Does the JSP Library tag works in CFMX server? Does anyone know the answer? Thanks...

    Yes. work for J2EE servers?
Yes, with a bit of effort. Coldfusion is itself a J2EE application! Search the web for BlueDragon.

I should ask "Can Java serverlet and JSP directly calls Cold Fusion's Java custom tag?".

As far as I can see, this is your original question. Things get confusing when
you put the word Java between Coldfusion and "custom tag". The reference
I gave you says something about using Java tags in Coldfusion. BlueDragon
is one among many applications that use Coldfusion tags in J2EE. But, above
everything else, Coldfusion itself is a J2EE application and so the answer to
both your original questions is "yes".

The reference you give me is for integrate Java in ColdFusion.
I like to know if a CFX custom tag written in Java can be used inside a JSP
    page?
Of course, we can write JSP libtag that can be used in both Cold Fusion and
JSP pages. But since we already have some CFX tag written with Java. It could
be nice if it can be used in the JSP page too, since we don't want to convert
these CFX tags into JSP Libtags. Yes, Coldfusion itself is a J2EE application,
but the CFX custom tag is Coldfusion specific.

I couldn't find anything about this topic in the web.

    Thanks
