Javascript Contribute Error
I have been using COntribute 3 for about a year. Never had a problem. Now all
of a sudden when I try to edit my web site, which I built on a template, I get
the error "While executing Edit_Action_Publish command in cctoolbars.xml, the
following Javascript error(s) occurred: Exception thrown in native function.
What do I do? I tried reinstalling the software, updating Java. I am at wits
end and need to get updates done to my site.
Can anyone help? Thanks

Re: Javascript Contribute Error
Here is some info that helped me with a different JS error, hope it can help
you:
"
Most internal JavaScript error messages are caused by damaged user
preferences. If another machine with a similar setup does not exhibit the same
behavior, it strongly points to damaged settings.
You can try having Contribute re-create the user preferences to see if this
resolves the problem. Here are the steps on Windows:
1) Close Contribute
2) Navigate to Documents and Settings > [username] > Local Settings >
Application Data > Macromedia > Contribute
3) Rename the 'Configuration' folder to 'Configuration-bak'
4) Start Contribute
