JDBC Type 4 and DB2 ?!? - IBM DB2

Hi all ! When I try to connect to DB2 6 on OS/390 , over JDBC with my java application (on linux) I receive this message : com.ibm.db2.jcc.c.DisconnectException: There is no available conversion for the source code page, 1208, to the target code page, "". My driver is com.ibm.db2.jcc.DB2Driver and my connection string is jdbc:db2://ip_address:port/DB2T Any ideas ? Thanks...

    Default JDBC Type 4 and DB2 ?!?

    Hi all !
    When I try to connect to DB2 6 on OS/390 , over JDBC with my java
    application (on linux) I receive this message :

    conversion for the source code page, 1208, to the target code page,
    "".

    My driver is com.ibm.db2.jcc.DB2Driver and my connection string is
    jdbc:db2://ip_address:port/DB2T

    Any ideas ?

    Probably the Unicode Service is not installed or configurated properly on
    OS/390.
