Can you swim with the big fish? Grouper Networks is developing software and a
web service that allow people to share personal video clips with friends online
both privately and publicly. We are looking for a Senior Flash Developer to
lead our exciting and innovative Flash development of web applications that
will be the center of our video sharing experience - [url]http://grouper.com[/url]

Please be a strong ActionScript developer that can build sophisticated and
great-looking Flash applications for creating, sharing and playing user
generated video on the web. This is a dream job if you consider yourself an
ActionScript expert and your passion is building cutting-edge Flash web apps in
a small but well-funded startup software company, in a white-hot business space

What you should bring with you:
- A strong software development background.
- 3-5 years of experience building multimedia applications for mainstream
consumers.
- Good command of XML and RSS and HTTP networking.
- Experience and ability to build data-driven Flash Internet applications
using XML web-services and data-sources.
- 3-5 years of experience working in ActionScript.
- Strong UI design sensibilities and passion for details and production values
that yield great-looking user interfaces in Flash.
- Excellent command of ActionScript 2.0 and the Flash 8 development
environment and runtime.
- Ability to work independently and to own core product features
- Comfort working in very fast-paced tight schedules

Nice to have:
- Experience working with online media sharing or social networking services
- Computer science degree and object-oriented development experience.

This position will work closely with product management on defining interface
and functionality specs, and will work closely w/ QA through testing and
release process.
