Re: jpg poor quality
You must be talking about how images look when looking at Flash content in
your browser. Check the embed tag in HTML to make sure that quality is
being set to High.

Re: jpg poor quality
So you're just playing the SWF file by double-clicking it on your comptuer?
In that case it's a player setting, which you seem to have found. The
default for the standalone Flash player should be High. Maybe I'm missing
something you're trying to say.

colors. When I <CTRL> click there's the option Low-Normal-High. High
is already selected but after choosing it anyway the pictures are
normal??? Very strange.

Re: jpg poor quality
That is strange, but it doesn't really effect anything. I mean if you're
publishing the SWF online then it really only matters how those users will
be able to see it. Can you post a link to the SWF so I can download it and
try it on my comptuer?

Re: jpg poor quality
Did you try converting the .jpg image to a symbol and using the symbol
instead of the actual .jpg in your frames? Does that help retain the
original quality?

Re: jpg poor quality
this is a known flash bug
(google for it)
flash "autodetects" the images and reduces the qual. just place a
_quality="high" in the second frame - this should fix it
(or you've found just one more bug :) )
