Jrun & CFMX & beyond ...
Hello Gang .. I got a project here which presents all sorts of challenges ..
We have a peoplesoft portal running in weblogic which needs to be able to
include into it a CFMX application .. Both Applications use their own method
for authentication and user session management .. The task began by having the
j2ee guys create a java class which would be called from CFMX and used as a way
to get authenticated into the Portal .. In order to do this, we had to install
Jrun 4 in the same server running CFMX 6.1 (no $ for CFMX Enterprise) .. Now
with Jrun 4 and CFMX 6.1 running in the same environment, we got all class
paths configured and running .. Locally in the CFMX box we have the java class
file being executed and responding with no problems .. I have no ideas about
the following: How to maintain sessions between both applications. Also ..
could this task have been accomplished another way .. perhaps something much
easier or with less steps .. Cheers and pass any info or questions along ..
I'm sure I could have included a bit more info ..
