    Default JRun Servlet Error

when I try to access any CFM files I get a 500 Internal Server Error page
thrown at me with the text in the title bar of the browser of "JRun Servlet
Error". The site was working fine, I rebooted my machine and then it wasn't.
I've read some earlier posts about this error (from 2004 & 2005) and was
wondering if anyone has come upon this recently. I'm running CFMX 7,0,0,91690
on Windows XP and IIS. From what I read, it looks like I'll need to reinstall
CF, unless someone has an alternative.

    Thanks

    David

    Default JRun Servlet Error

I get to the login page with the text below:

    ColdFusion MX 7
    Configuration and Settings Migration Wizard
ColdFusion MX 7 has been successfully installed. This wizard will guide you
through the remaining server configuration steps and, if applicable, migrate
settings from a previous version of ColdFusion.

To guarantee the security of your server, please enter your ColdFusion
    Administrator password.

Once I insert my password I get an error JRun Servlet Error and in the body of
    the text 500 null.

I am at a loss having spent the best part of a day trying to get this working.

    Please Help!
    I have installed CF MX 7 verion 7.2 on a Mac G4 17" PB

I am having this same problem, has anybody come up wiith a solution? I also
cannot uninstall coldfusion because it says my password is incorrect. My
password is definately correct as I just set up this server.

If you look at the thread Cannot Load Administrator you will see a solution
posted by Ant. I have not had time to try, but hopefully will get to it
later today. I recommend just deleting the ColdFusionMX7 directory
manually. I had the same issue that you experienced. Keep an eye on the
thread Cannot Load Administrator as I will be back here to find a solution
if Ants didn't work for me.

    Good luck...Colin

    Default JRun Servlet Error

I can no longer access anything on my development machine in IE (6 or 7). I
receive a JRun Servlet Error with an error code of 413 Header Length too Large.
I get this even when I try to access the CF Administrator.

Everything works fine in Firefox. Any Ideas aside from ditching IE as that is
    not an option?

    thanks,
    BCA
