Default Junk generation in search engine results

    To Whom it May Concern:

We maintain the New Jersey Division of Taxation's website and currently
we are having a problem with our publications.

Our publications are created in PageMaker 7.0 and some objects are
created as Word objects and brought over into PageMaker. They are then
    distilled into Adobe Acrobat 6.0.

When the publication is brought into Adobe Acrobat 6.0, it is embedding
the fonts in a "different" way. For example, the fonts are coming in
    with numbers, IE: Times.New.Roman.Bold0233.3131822

When we upload a page with these embedded fonts, we get "junk" in our
search feature on our Web site. To see what we mean, please try a search
on our site at: <http://www.state.nj.us/treasury/taxation/search.htm> (in
this box type: hr2 and you will see what we mean by "junk") And if you
    open this document, HR2,
    <http://www.state.nj.us/treasury/taxation/pdf/pubs/rebates/hr2.pdf>, and
copy and paste some of the text from this document, it will paste as
    "junk."

If we create these pages and do not embed the fonts, only half of the
document will display when opened in Adobe 6.0.
So, if we correct the font issue and resolve the "junk" the publications
will not display correctly. If we make the publications display
correctly, we will get junk in the search and when copying and pasting.

how can we resolve BOTH of these issues.

Thank you for your time and assistance. It is greatly appreciated.
