kernel source for 2.2.20-idepci(Debian) - Linux Setup, Configuration & Administration

When running 'insmod' to install the network card driver on Debian Linux (v3.0 r2), I get the error that kernel version for which the driver was built (2.2.22) does not match the installed kernel(2.2.20). I was only able to find the source for 2.2.22, which I thought will work but it did'nt. What is correct way to install the driver? Should I try to get the source for 2.2.20 (and from where can I get it?) or there is a workaround to build the driver using the 2.2.22 source and install using 'insmod'? Thanks a lot in advance, ramu...

    Hello

Debian Woody does include the source for all the Kernel 2.2.20 images.
If you use testing or stable, maybe it would be easy for you to upgrade
the Kernel to 2.2.22. However, if you use the source package, you will
probably have to copy your kernel config from /boot to
/usr/src/kernel-source-whatever/.config and run make oldconfig; make
    dep.

You can get the kernel-headers-2.2.20idepci package instead. You should
be able to build the driver with that one.

    best regards

    Thanks a lot Andreas!

I was able to build the network driver and run insmod to install the network
driver, using the headers for 2.2.20. I appreciate your help very much
