Key Words/Meta Tags
I am having some trouble getting my website onto search engines. Is there
something I should do in the keyword or meta tag area? Please help! Does a site
containing frames have anything to do with it??

Thank you!

Re: Key Words/Meta Tags
I thought I had already replied to this, so if you get this twice my apologies!
Frames certainly don't help with search engines, personally, I would avoid
them at all costs. That said on my brief look at your site I couldn't see any.
As for meta tags the key ones to have are the page title and description,
which should be on each page. Both should be descriptive and should match the
textural content of your page. Try using something like "OK Productions:
Independent Film Producers" rather than "OKP" and "OK Productions: About us"
rather than "About us". Keywords are less important, but still worth having on
there, but again they should match the textural content of the page (and there
should be 20 or less). You should also have the ROBOT tags defined. There is
a useful free tag analyser here:
http://www.widexl.com/remote/search-engines/metatag-analyzer.html
Also, you should define your headings especially <h1>. Get as many sites as
possible to link to yours, which will include relevent trade and local
directories, all your mates and business associates etc. Submit your site to
all the major search engines which allow you to do it for free (Google does).
All that done though, there is still no guarantee of getting listed.
Personally, I'd also get a relevent domain name, I'm not sure if it helps that
much but it will look more professional if someone does find your site and the
url is shown (OHKAYPRODUCTIONS.COM is available for about $9)
Good luck and give me a shout if you need any more help :)
