Keyboard shortcut blackouts in XP
I have no real problems with Ill. CS until I start using the pathfinder palette. Then either the system crashes or the shortcut keys do not work at all. I have not changed or customized any of the commands. I see this was an issue for Mac but can’t find any help for XP. Thanks

Re: Keyboard shortcut blackouts in XP
Did you try trashing your prefs? My Selection tool quit working the other day!! Trashing prefs fixed it. Maybe your Pathfinder palette was the first loss of functionality that you noticed. If other really basic stuff quits working then trashing prefs is probably your answer for sure.

Re: Keyboard shortcut blackouts in XP
No I didn’t. Thanks will try doing that yet again. Doesn’t seem normal to have a program where I have to trash prefs each time I run the program. Never had this in Ill. 9. Oh also remembered that each time I use the text tool my keyboard doesn’t respond correctly. M key becomes a comma A key becomes a Q…Aggg!
