Keyboard Shortcuts - Toggle Toolbar/Palletes on/off
WIN XP
AI 8.0
This is probably a very rudimentary question...BUT...to toggle the Toolbard/Pallets on/off, how do I invoke a keyboard shortcut (normally TAB) when in the TEXT mode...
While in the TEXT mode of course the result is to insert a tab space...is there some combination of keyboard strokes that will show the Toolbar/Palletes while in TEXT without having to mouse around with it?
Thanks,
mak

Michael,

Not really. The closest I can get you is to Ctrl-click outside your text area. This will allow you to use keyboard shortcuts to change tools and let you hit TAB to hide/show tools and palettes.
In IL 10, hitting the Esc key while in text modes switches you to the selection tool, but this does not work in IL 8.
