We have some users that run some long queries that can sometimes result in a
buffer time out error after a while.
My question is - there a why to set a timeout on a specific login. There
may be something that an application login uses that is allowed to run for
long but user queries can be killed. I thought of looking a sysprocess to
write a script to kill the connections but wanted to see if there was any
other suggestion on how to approach this situation. We are running SQL 2000
