    Default Knockout Group

When Knockout Group is in in neutral state in the Transparency palette, objects don't appear any different than when Knockout Group is completely OFF. I'm wondering what the neuatral state is used for or is good for.

    Default Re: Knockout Group

The neutral state is to be used when you do not want the Knockout to interfere with the knockout behavior set by an enclosing group or layer.

Can you give me an example of that? Guess I'm dense.
