languages
Hi,
'scuse my ignorance, but what is a crossplatform way to determine the os
language when (the environment).oslanguage and (the
environment).uilanguage return 'other'?
For the pc I suppose digging the registry will do, but what on the mac?
How does director determine this anyway? Hold the value it recieves from
wherever against a LUT and return 'other' if not there?

I am trying to create a stationery design program in director 8.5.
It is designed to work with different languages Polish being one of them. The client is having problems writing the extended characters. I have tried embedding the fonts, getting a list of installed fonts and neither methods worked correctly.
Any advice you can give greatly appreicated as the client is getting angry.
Cheers
