    Default Large Canvas Size

    Hi,

    I need to create a 6000mm (6m) x 841mm poster. Illustrator only allows
the canvas to go to 5779mm.

Is there anyway to extend the canvas?

I want to eventually output the file as a 300dpi PDF file.

Could I 'stich' two smaller PDF files (say two halves, 3000m x 841mm)
together instead? How would this be done?

I'd really appreciate any advice an Illustrator guru could offer.

    Many thanks,
    Ryan

    No but make 600mm x 577,9mm instead.

You can make the pdf file the same size and finally print it using 1000%
enlargement. I've made several big posters and printing service usally want
the files smaller than original. Often in 1/10 size.

It depends on the printing technique what resolution you have to use. In big
posters 100-150 dpi is quite enough. Ask the printer.
