We have a large intranet site. For this there is one master template and
several sub templates. All these sit in the single Templates folder
automatically generated from the root level. Underneath this root level we have
numerous sub folders, which we give site editors access to. We want to be able
to assign permissions to individual areas only but we then have the problem of
also assigning rights to the higher level templates folder in order for them to
receive access to templates (and style sheets). In principle this is a workable
system but we find (be it a Contribute or our network problem) that rights are
often lost and we often have to reassign rights at both levels. Any advice on
how other organisations with similar structures combat this problem would be
much appreciated.
