Large PDFs from QX 6.5
Simple, two-page letter size document with black text and a couple of grayscale images. I do a File>Export>Save Layout as PDF. I get a .ps file (Pref is: Create PostScript File for Later Distilling)
I open Distiller (6.02) and select Smallest File Size in the PDF settings -- I get a 1.1 mb file. Seems high to me. I open it in Acrobat (6.03) and do the Reduce File Size thing and it brings it to. about 300 k.
1. What's the best method to creating PDFs from Quark?
2. How do the PDF settings in Distiller compare to the previous version, i.e. there is no "Print", "Screen", etc. etc. Which does Smallest File Size come nearest to in Distiller 5x?
