layer and textpanel have dissapeared....

For some reason I cannot see my layers and text panels anymore. I already tried resetting the panels bij using alt + ctrl + shift, but no luck. Anyone a clue how to fix this?

Have you tried Window + ticking Layers, and Window>Type + ticking Paragraph or Character?

of course, that is the most obvious. in the menu it shows they are selected, but they are still not visible....

You need to delete your AIPrefs file. Details of how to do this are in the FAQs.
