Layer Palette Thumbnails

    Default Layer Palette Thumbnails

Using Mac OS 10.3.3 and PS CS.

For some reason, when I work on a file in landscape mode (versus portrait) the adjustment layer thumbnails show up with a generic icon (i.e. the same icon for curves, levels, or whatever). In portrait mode, the icon is customized to the type of adjustment layer. Since I relabel all of my layers, (e.g. Curves 1 becomes Shadows Adj. or some such thing), I miss having the customized icon to alert me to the type of layer, especially when reopening older files.

Is this a plist thing? If so, anybody know which one? Or is this a memory conservation thing? Does anyone else see this behavior?

Thanks in advance for any comments.

    Default Re: Layer Palette Thumbnails

It's been that way for a few versions, maybe as long as there have been Adjustment Layers. Don't know if it can be changed.
