    Default Layers and JavaScript

I have got this website that I have redone and put up a sample of if for the
owner to view. But my layers sometimes don't always show up. I have them on
visible, but sometimes I have to hit the refresh button over and over again to
make them show up. That just isn't supposed to be like that. I think my
problem has to do with the javascript menu that I have at the top of the page
that also uses layers to show the links below the heading which are invisible
until a heading button is rolled over. How do I make sure that my layers will
show everytime on page load. Sometime they are there, sometimes they are not.
Here is a link to the page. Thanks.

That's how they work. If they are specified as visible in the code, they
will be visible on the rendered page. I have no idea what could cause the
symptoms you describe. While the code on the page below does not validate,
I see no serious errors - certainly none that would cause such symptoms.

Which layers is it that you are not seeing reliably?

Thanks for the reply. I check it out on other web browers and it only seems to
happen with IE. They all show on Opera and Mozilla shows them, but the whole
site is messed up, but at least the layers come up. If I keep hitting reftesh
in IE sometime they are there and some times they are not. The layers that
aren't showing up are located under news and events, under Join a Program, and
under How to Donate. If you need to know what the layer names are I can give
you those as well. Thanks for the help.

This would be a function of the menu system you have chosen then. Ask the
original authors for support with this problem.
