Learning flash

Hello everyone,

I'm in the process of learning flash but I need help. I realized that
it is very difficult to learn flash on your own. Does anyone have any
tips, pointers, what to concentrate on first, flash tutorials? Any
ideas to help get me started would be greatly appreciated.

I have found that the best way to learn anything is to have a reason to do
so. Identify what it is you wish to do - then learn how to do it in flash.
There are loads of good flash tutorials to be found once you can be more
specific in your google search.

For example you may wish to have a small but cute flash animation on your
site - so your starting point would be for simple flash animation
tutorials... and so on.

Having said that - if you can get your hands on the Hillman Curtis:Flash Web
Design(the art of motion graphics) book, you'll have yourself a great
resource for learing flash from very basic to a fairly advanced level.
